• Consulting and training service on Policy implementation, staff training to AS 4308, and all aspects of drug of abuse testing in the workplace.

Medvet is a South Australian (Adelaide) based company specialising in health products and services.

Medvet was founded in 1985 as the commercial vehicle of the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science, the Hanson Institute and the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Medvet's mission is to support, develop, and market the intellectual property of the medical and scientific staff and products that arise from the work at these institutions.

This has led to the development of a wide range of commercial activities including:

• Commercial testing services in microbiology, toxicology, and molecular biology (including paternity testing).
• Medical evacuation and repatriation services.
• The provision of specialised medical services to international patients.
• The protection and commercialisation of intellectual property arising from research on campus.

In addition, Medvet contributes funds to medical research in the institutions, both directly and through sponsored research projects and indirectly through contributions to the RAH Research Committee.
